I have four computers all under three years old and not one of them has a processor that is compatible with Windows 11. Brands are HP and Lenovo.
This situation really sucks...

Windows 11 can be downloaded as an ISO file then do a registry hack and it can be installed on older processors.

Yes, but it is not recommended.
Yes I saw that Microsoft can't guarantee the drivers etc.
I know two people who have downloaded that way with no problems other than one having her color themes change.
A person could try it if they have a backup laptop to see if it works.
Of course, by having a backup, they can try Windows 11.
I did the Miscrosft Insider to do a beta testing on Windows 11.
What is strange is when I first tried to download it I got a message my laptop didn't not have the required CPU so just stopped trying that night.
Next morning it showed I had an update that should be installed, I did that and that update was Windows 11. Took about 55 minutes to install.
From that I knew Windows 11 will work with older CPUs.
I don't understand what Microsft is doing.
My laptop is 5 years old with a 5th generation i5-5200 in it.
I just saw where you can't recieve Windows 11 updates doing it that way.
Microsoft has things very well covered.
I hoped Microsoft would reconsider these restrictive requirements, but it did not. I am as disappointed as you 😥.
