Where is Google Chrome highlighted? In the taskbar or somewhere else?
If you meant it is highlighted in your taskbar, it seems it is an exceptional problem with your system because there is no problem with mine, as you can see below.
Have you tried to unpin it from the taskbar, then pin it again? If you have already tried it, you can check the Windows updates or reinstall Google Chrome if you have tried it.
